TALLADEGA, Ala. − Both winners in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series races at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday were drivers who previously competed in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards.

 

 

 

Kevin Harvick led the way on the Cup side while Brad Keselowski prevailed in the Nationwide Series.

Official race results from the Aaron's 499 Sprint Cup Series race reveal that eight of the top-10 finishers are drivers who have ARCA experience, including Harvick, Juan Montoya (finished third), Denny Hamlin (fourth), Mark Martin (fifth), David Ragan (sixth), Clint Bowyer (seventh), Kyle Busch (ninth) and Mike Bliss (10th).

Among the aforementioned group, Martin, Ragan and Busch are former ARCA winners.

On the Nationwide side, former ARCA drivers finished one-two-three with Brad Keselowski taking the top spot followed by Joey Logano and Harvick. Like the Cup side, eight of the top-10 Nationwide finishers are former ARCA drivers. Overall, a whopping 33 of the 43 finishers in the Nationwide race are former ARCA drivers, including 18 former ARCA winners.
