(TOLEDO, Ohio) - The Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200 at Toledo Speedway promises to feature numerous highly competitive drivers as the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards races toward an exciting championship finish, but through the dealer group's exciting test drive promotion, race fans will be the first to hit the road in celebration of the thrilling Toledo race weekend.

Those who test drive a new Ford vehicle at any participating Northwest Ohio Ford Dealer will have a chance to go to the races September 11 and 12 for the United States Auto Club (USAC) and ARCA doubleheader at the high-banked, super-fast Toledo Speedway.

Through promotional advertising, consumers are invited to participate in a test drive offer at any of the 25 participating Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers. Each participant will receive a four-pack of tickets to Saturday's USAC Ford Focus Midget Series race - which features presenting sponsorship from the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers - and will be able to register to win a pair of tickets to Sunday's feature ARCA Racing Series event, the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200.

The promotion will be topped off by the selection of one lucky winner to "Wave the Green Flag" to bring the ARCA Racing Series field to the start of the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200.

"It's a win/win all-around. Consumers receive race tickets for test drives, dealer sales staff connect with consumers and showcase new products, and ARCA has the opportunity to fill the grandstands for a wonderful weekend of racing. This particular race weekend at Toledo draws fans from many neighboring states, but the highest concentration of race fan attendees comes from right here in the Toledo area, which provides a perfect marketing platform for the dealers and a fully integrated promotion, with benefits to all participants," said George Mergen, director of marketing for the ARCA Racing Series.

In addition to the on-track racing action, ARCA will host its annual Fan Fest, presented this year by Belle Tire. Spectator gates open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, followed by Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell for the ARCA Racing Series at 3:30 p.m., and the USAC Ford Focus Midget Series race at 4:30.

The Hunter Brucks Band will host a free post-race concert, which will be followed by a NASCAR viewing party hosted by Mike's Hard Lemonade in the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grille.

Spectator gates and ticket sales for the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200 will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 12, and an on-track autograph session featuring the entire starting ARCA Racing Series field is scheduled to take place from noon-1:15 p.m. The Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200 begins at 2 p.m.

Toledo Speedway is located at 5639 Benore Road in northeast Toledo, just off I-75 and Alexis Road. More information is available by calling (419) 727-1100, or by visiting ARCARacing.com.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards features 20 events at 17 tracks on its 2010 schedule. The series has crowned an ARCA national champion each year since its inaugural season in 1953, and has toured over 200 racetracks in 28 states since its inception. The series tests the abilities of drivers and race teams over the most diverse schedule of stock car racing events in the world, annually visiting tracks ranging from 0.4 mile to 2.66 miles in length, on both paved and dirt surfaces as well as left- and right-turn street and road courses.

Founded by John Marcum in 1953 in Toledo, Ohio, the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is recognized among the leading sanctioning bodies in the country. Closing in on completing its sixth decade after hundreds of thousands of miles of racing, ARCA administers over 100 race events each season in two professional touring series and local weekly events.
