(TOLEDO, Ohio) - Mike's Hard Lemonade, the "Lemonade for Grown-Ups," will play an instrumental role in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards event weekend at Toledo Speedway, scheduled for September 10-12.
Mike's Hard Lemonade Co., the primary sponsor for two-time ARCA race winner Steve Arpin's No. 55 Venturini Motorsports Toyota, will participate in the Aaron's NASCAR Party in the spacious banquet facility at the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grille. Together, Aaron's and Mike's Hard Lemonade will welcome race fans, attending race teams, and all speedway guests for viewing parties featuring the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series events from Richmond International Raceway on Friday and Saturday nights, respectively.

In addition to sponsorship of the NASCAR viewing parties, Mike's Hard Lemonade will host a trackside hospitality event on the "Mike's Party Deck," just outside Turn 1 on Toledo Speedway's half-mile oval. The hospitality event will take place as Arpin and the No. 55 Mike's Hard Lemonade Toyota enter Sunday's Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200, the 17th event of 20 on the 2010 ARCA Racing Series schedule. The green flag is slated to drop at 2:08 p.m.

The most visible segment of the company's increased involvement at Toledo Speedway may just be on the race track, however. Arpin's No. 55 Toyota will feature a new Mike's Hard Pink Lemonade paint scheme, in a nod to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place annually in October.

Arpin will wear a new Mike's Hard Pink Lemonade fire suit, and the Venturini Motorsports crew will wear pink crew shirts to honor the occasion. The Mike's Hard Pink Lemonade program will continue throughout the remainder of the 2010 season, with additional exposure at the series' season-ending events at Salem (Ind.) Speedway on September 18, at Kansas Speedway on September 30, and Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway on October 9.

"We are really looking forward to kicking off our 'Pink' program at Toledo," said Arpin. "Supporting breast cancer research is a very personal fight for the Mike's Hard Lemonade Co. In 2009, Mike's made a $250,000 donation, and they will be doing the same again in 2010, along with some new programs through their social networking efforts that will make this year even bigger and better than last. We have had a very strong season so far and are excited about finishing it off featuring Mike's Hard Pink Lemonade on the car and supporting such a great cause."

Spectator gates and ticket sales for the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200 will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 12, and an on-track autograph session featuring the entire starting ARCA Racing Series field is scheduled to take place from noon-1:15 p.m.

Toledo Speedway is located at 5639 Benore Road in northeast Toledo, just off I-75 and Alexis Road. More information is available by calling (419) 727-1100, or by visiting ARCARacing.com.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards features 20 events at 17 tracks on its 2010 schedule. The series has crowned an ARCA national champion each year since its inaugural season in 1953, and has toured over 200 racetracks in 28 states since its inception. The series tests the abilities of drivers and race teams over the most diverse schedule of stock car racing events in the world, annually visiting tracks ranging from 0.4 mile to 2.66 miles in length, on both paved and dirt surfaces as well as left- and right-turn street and road courses.

Founded by John Marcum in 1953 in Toledo, Ohio, the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is recognized among the leading sanctioning bodies in the country. Closing in on completing its sixth decade after hundreds of thousands of miles of racing, ARCA administers over 100 race events each season in two professional touring series and local weekly events.
