KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) Formula One drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Jarno Trulli hope to finish Lotus' home Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend ahead of the other newcomers on the grid.
Kovalainen says the Malaysia-backed team will try to close the gap to the more experienced teams on the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
The Finnish driver said on Tuesday that ``everybody feels the pressure. But it's good. It's the kind of pressure that we can handle.''
Trulli, from Italy, says the team has to focus on making the cars reliable and ``take things step by step.''
Lotus, which returned to Formula One after 16 years, has had a good start, finishing the season-opening race in Bahrain and bringing through one car in Melbourne, performing better than the other two newcomers.
