Pit road could become the world's tightest parking lot on Sunday.

There are 27 cars entered in the race. One problem: The track is designed only for 26 spots on pit road. To accommodate the extra team officials have shortened each pit box, giving drivers just 35 feet (101/2 meters) of room to squeeze their cars into.

``That's going to be tough,'' said Dario Franchitti.

Add one more obstacle on one of the narrowest tracks in the series. Then again, for a series that has sometimes struggled to get full fields, it's a good problem to have.

``We just didn't think it was right to send somebody home,'' Barnhart said. ``You've got people in this economy making the effort and spending the money, you're not going to send anybody home.''
