Hendersonville, NC – United Auto Racing Association (UARA) has become one of the highest competitive late model series in racing. The Series will kick off their eleventh year of action packed racing with the 2012 season.  This is all possible with the great support of our loyal sponsors and racers.

“We look forward to the 2012 season, we have some new sponsors on board, that we will announce next month,” says UARA President Kerry Bodenhamer.  “As a series, we are very grateful for all the companies who participate in discovering new racing talent.”

Each UARA-STARS late model has the opportunity to run these contingency decals and reap the awards. Some weekly awards come with trophies such as The Rookie of the Race, which the trophy for that was sponsored by Xtreme Trophies and More.  Th Holley Performer also received a trophy at each event.  Some individual race contingencies came with cash awards. The Sunoco Pole, Holley Performer of the Race and G Force South Shift of the Race all came with a weekly cash payoff.

At the 2011 series banquet, drivers saw just how much the sponsors appreciate them running the decals and supporting them. Kaleb Pressley and Scott Turlington had many thanks to Five Star for their Package A body they won at the 2011 UARA Banquet during a random draw. Tiger Rearend surprised David Roberts with a new quick-change rear end and G Force South awarded Ronnie Bassett, Jr. with a transmission.

Along with the racers, the sponsors help out the UARA officials as well. Unifirst sponsors officials’ uniforms. NASCAL designed the wrap for the pace car in 2011, which was sponsored by Mach IV Honda. American Fab generously gave the generator that is used at all the UARA events. TriCounty Solutions prepared the UARA backdrop, Champion and Rookie of the Year banners for the 2011 banquet. They are also making a new backdrop that we will be using at trade shows for 2012.
