GAFFNEY, SC – When the checkered flag flew over the twisting and turning course of Road America in last
year’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race, Mike Wallace and the No. 01 Chevrolet team of JD Motorsports was all smiles.
After multiple cautions for multiple-car wrecks, Wallace and company came unscathed with a top-five finish. This year, the No. 01 G&K Services Chevrolet team is hoping to repeat – if not improve the finish for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller.
Newt Moore and crew have working on the car putting in a set up to their driver’s liking, and one that will respond to the track’s demands. With the right-hand turn challenge adding to the fun this weekend, Wallace will be needing every bit of technical and mechanical help he can get out of the car.
